Focus on One thing… Not 2 or 3. Just ONE. Pick one thing that you can do today that will put you on the path you want to see yourself in the nearest future.

I have been reading a book in the last 6 months titled 'The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results' by Gary W. Keller and Jay Papasan. It is highly recommended and a basis for what I am sharing.

2018 is in its 11th month and we all have different things we want to do before it ends. However, one reason or another has hindered our progress thus far in achieving our set goals whether it is to lose weight, to eat healthy, to exercise more, pray more, spend more time in the word of God, or to spend more time with our kids, involve ourselves in continuous professional development, to getting that qualification, to be more friendly, save more or spend less... The list is endless.

Multitasking

The art of multitasking is something that has been sorely abused with many becoming Jack of all trades and masters of none. Humans, they say, don't do lots of things simultaneously. Instead, we switch our attention from task to task extremely quickly.

Multitasking works best when different parts of our senses are not engaged in doing the same thing at the same time. A good example is that you cannot write an email and make a telephone call at the same time. The same part of your brain processes both information and one has to stop for the other.

The human being is capable of far more than we think so start today, start little and though your beginning be small, your latter end shall be all you want it to be and so much more... (my paraphrase lol)

Experts say anything done continually for 21days at a stretch becomes a habit. So start today...NOW!

To living a life that makes a difference...one day at a time!
